Canal Ring (Grachtengordel)

The iconic canals, the Nine Streets, museums, and canal cruises. Getting there: train to Amsterdam Centraal, then walk or tram.

Red Light District / De Wallen

Amsterdam's most famous nightlife area. Getting there: train to Amsterdam Centraal, 10 min walk.

Leidseplein / Rembrandtplein

Amsterdam nightlife — clubs, bars, theatres. Getting there: train to Amsterdam Centraal, tram 1/2/5. Or train to Amsterdam Zuid, metro to Vijzelgracht (2 stops).

Museumplein

Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, Stedelijk Museum, Concertgebouw. Train to Amsterdam Zuid, 10 min walk.

Amsterdam Zuidoost

Ziggo Dome, ArenA, AFAS Live. Metro 54 from Amsterdam Zuid, 10 min.

Example: 3-Day City Trip

• Day 1 — The Hague: Mauritshuis, Binnenhof, shopping in the Passage. Dinner at 't Goude Hooft.
• Day 2 — Amsterdam: Train (50 min). Rijksmuseum, lunch in De Pijp, canal walk, shopping in De Jordaan. Back for dinner — or eat in Amsterdam and take the late train.
• Day 3 — Beach: Scheveningen by tram (15 min). Relax, boulevard, Sea Life. Breakfast and check out.

Back in the Evening

Last train Amsterdam → The Hague: 00:15 weekdays, later on weekends with the Night Train. After an evening at Leidseplein or in De Pijp, you're in your suite with jacuzzi by 01:00.
